For this assignment, we had to capture images using the Principles of Design while also avoiding awkward tangents. Once we chose our favorite images, we had to paint them using different brushes from Photoshop.
This assignment was all about finding beauty in everyday places- especially in the not-so-pretty places. This assignment was also about using the Principles of Design and avoiding awkward tangents. This was one of my favorite assignments to complete because it allowed me to explore more of my city.
The purpose of this assignment was to create a conference poster for a client named, Futurbit. It started with sketching a few designs and then choosing a favorite one to construct in Adobe InDesign.
The purpose of this assignment was to research "Thank You" cards and sketch out a few designs. Once we chose our favorite one to digitalize, we were to create a mockup of the card as if it were real. I decided to type "Thank You" in different languages- this and having the main color be purple is what made it another one of my favorites.
For this assignment, we had to create a mockup of a website for a local bakery. It started off with creating a mood board that set the overall tone. Next was to create a "style tile" that showed off the typeface, font sizes, and clickable button styles. Following that was to create a "wireframe", which is basically a layout of the website. After choosing a favorite frame, the next step was to digitalize and create that website.
In this assignment, we had to choose an animal and sketch is in different styles, encyclopedic drawing, gestural drawing, transformation drawing, and a logo. I enjoyed sketching the transformation drawing because it allowed me to come up with different ways to design the cat. In the end, we had to choose our favorite ones from each style to present.
